Community First Responder Boher is recruiting Volunteers

Community First Responder Boher has been running for almost 2 years, and we have answered approximately one call per month during that time.  We cover the area south Barrington’s bridge-Farnane-Rath within Murroe-Boher parish, as shown in the attached map.

There are currently 11 active trained volunteers.  Volunteers carry an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and are called out by the National Ambulance Service when an emergency call is made for heart attack, chest pain, stroke and choking.

CFR Boher is recruiting Volunteers – requirements Over 18, Full Driving Licence. Training will be organised for volunteers to be PHECC qualified (Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council) www.phecit.ie. If anyone is interested in becoming a volunteer e-mail to CFRBoher@gmail.com. For those who want to support this group or who have an interest and want to keep in touch, please send an email to CFRBoher@gmail.com.
