The route will be from the Muintir na Tíre Hall in Murroe, left at The Monument, in the back gate of Glenstal Abbey and out the front gates back to the hall. We plan to have refreshments for all walkers and look forward to seeing you there on the morning.
Please register as soon as possible – Early bird registration ends 4th April. If you register by 4th May, 10th Anniversary t-shirts will be delivered to you directly, with no guarantee of you getting your t-shirt on time if you register after that date.

Community First Responder Boher is recruiting Volunteers
Community First Responder Boher has been running for almost 2 years, and we have answered approximately one call per month during that time. We cover the area south Barrington’s bridge-Farnane-Rath within Murroe-Boher parish, as shown in the attached map.
There are currently 11 active trained volunteers. Volunteers carry an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and are called out by the National Ambulance Service when an emergency call is made for heart attack, chest pain, stroke and choking.
CFR Boher is recruiting Volunteers – requirements Over 18, Full Driving Licence. Training will be organised for volunteers to be PHECC qualified (Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council) www.phecit.ie. If anyone is interested in becoming a volunteer e-mail to CFRBoher@gmail.com. Darkness into Light – 2018 Update
Darkness into Light 2018 in aid of Pieta House will be held 4am Saturday 12th May.
Following the success of last year’s walk, the event will be held in Murroe again this year.
Registration will open in early-February.
