Coffee Morning Boher Community Development Association will hold a coffee morning this Sunday, 11 August, at Boher Community Centre, following 10am Mass in Boher, and outside Murroe Church following 11.30am Mass. The purpose is to raise funds for Fr Tommy Laffan’s project in Kenya. We hope you will support our coffee morning.

Milford Care Centre: This year the Milford Hospice annual Harvest Fair celebrates its 34th anniversary and is scheduled for Sunday 1st September at the University of Limerick. There will be a fun filled Programme of activities and entertainment. Items such as plants, bottles for the bottle stall, and homemade cakes along with new items for the Wheel of Fortune will be accepted on the day only. All other goods such as toys, fancy goods, designer/good quality handbags & scarfs are being accepted at the Hospice from the 19th August 2019. Murroe Boher Camogie: Our intermediate team take on Crecora at 11.30am in Boher on Sunday morning (11th August) in their second round championship game. The girls lost to a strong Cappamore team in their first round game so we need a big support to come out and support our team. Best of luck to all players and management.

Murroe AFC Notes: Team News: The Ladies team league fixture with Lifford was postponed on Tuesday night last. The ladies face Regional Utd away in the division 1 cup on Sun 11th at 7pm.

The Men’s teams are back in action for the new season in the coming week, Best of luck to Pat O’Grady and the A team, Dean Landers and the B team, and Ian Guerin the C team, and Ray Ryan and the U-18 team. The A team are at home to Athlunkard Villa in the league on Tues 13th at 6:30pm. The B team are at home to Herbertstown in the league on Weds 14th at 6:30pm. The C team are away to Mungret Regional in the league on Fri 16th at 6:30pm. Come along and support the lads! Keep an eye on the Facebook page for fixtures and results.
