Concert in Murroe Church with Tommy Fleming will take place on Sunday 11th December. Tickets €30 on sale in Sacristy, Local Shops and Post Office and Pubs in Boher. This concert is to continue the fundraising for repairs to Church windows.

Murroe Marian Club (Senior Citizens Club) will hold a Monster 45 Drive in Muintir na Tíre Hall Murroe on Nov. 15th at 8pm sharp. Spot Prizes Galore! Tea will be served. Admission €6.

Annual Collection in aid of Murroe-Boher Senior Citizens Christmas Party will take place next weekend 19/20 November.

St Vincent DePaul will hold its Annual Church Gate Collection at all Masses in Murroe and Boher on the week-end of November 26/27. All support would be greatly appreciated.

Sliabh Feilim Singers and Friends annual Christmas Concert will be held at 5pm in Abington Church Murroe on 27th November. Join us to celebrate the season in song.  Funds this year will be given to a program for Special Needs Children in Haiti.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Boher Community Development Association: Boher Community Development Association will launch its 2017 Parish Calendar on Sunday night, 20 November, at O’Neill’s Bar.  The calendar includes a delightful selection of old and recent photographs reflecting the lives and achievements of the people of Boher and places of interest.  The back of the calendar features some Boher-related snippets from old newspapers and journals.   Cost €5.  All welcome to attend. Progressive 45 every Friday night at Boher Community Centre, at 8pm.  All welcome to attend. Community First Responder, Boher requires new volunteers to cover 24 hours a month.  Those interested must be over 18 years and hold a clean driving licence.  Training will take place in early 2017 to Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council.  If you are interested, contact Ita Richardson, cfrboher@gmail.com. Boher Christmas Market, Sunday 11 December, at 2pm.  Calling all craftspeople, artists, bakers, (young and not so young), and culinary experts.  Book a stall at Boher Community Centre by contacting Paudie Laffan 086 0785836 and show off/sell some of your creative delights.  There will be a small charge of €5 per stall.  Santa and Mrs Claus will also visit the Community Centre.

Murroe Boher Community Games AGM will be held this Monday, the 14th of November at 9pm.  All new members would be most welcome.

Murroe Boher Camogie: Best of luck to our minor team who play Galbally in the county quarter final on Sunday at 12.30 in Boher. Please get out and support our girls.

Murroe Boher Bord na nog would like to congratulate our u13 Footballers on winning the County Final recently and also our Junior B Hurlers on a fantastic victory in the County Final last Sunday. 2 County championships in 1 week, a fabulous week for the Club. The Bord na nOg, would like to advise that our AGM is fixed for Monday 28th November in the Club Pavilion at 8.30PM. Applications are invited for the Chairman’s position this year, Applications must be with the Secretary in writing at least I week prior to the AGM.

Murroe AFC: The Annual club draw takes place this Sunday Evening the13th at the Valley Inn Murroe at 9-30pm. This is our only fundraiser of the year and tickets are still available.
