Book Launch by Brian P Murphy Osb, “The Life and Tragic Death of Winnie Barrington” The story of the Barrington Family in Glenstal Castle, Limerick, c. 1800 – 1925 will take place in the Muintir na Tire Hall on Sat March 24th, 4.30pm 6.30pm.

Madaboy House Annual Coffee Morning – In Aid of Cancer Research: Please keep Saturday 21st April free, from 10.30 am to 1 pm, for a delightful offering of tea, coffee, treats, sweets and music in choice surroundings. This is a very worthy cause.

Church Windows Fundraising: Jimmy Buckley concert has had to be postponed due to the bad weather. It is re-scheduled for Sunday April 29th. Tickets will remain valid for that date.

Energy Grants for Attic Insulation, Cavity Wall insulation, Oil and Gas boilers, Windows, Doors etc. Information evening in Cappamore Community Centre on Wednesday March 28th at 8pm.

Ballyhoura: An Opportunity for Insight, Ideas and Inspiration at the Ballyhoura North East District Forum. The Ballyhoura North East District Forum will take place on Tuesday April 10th at 7.30pm at the Community Centre in Pallasgreen. The Main focus on the Night will be on the upcoming funding opportunities available to Communities in the coming months. This District Forum meeting will give the opportunity to look at the local issues in common across local enterprise, your community, environment and social inclusion matters, and then agree on actions to progress onward towards innovative solutions. It’s also your chance to meet the Ballyhoura Development staff and gain insight on various projects and initiatives delivered and see how these ideas could inspire your local Community. Boher Community Development Association will participate again in the JP McManus Team Limerick Clean Up initiative. Large numbers of our community have participated every year in this event to gather bags of litter around Boher.  We hope you will join us again on Good Friday, 30 March, at 9am, at Boher Community Centre.

Bord na nOg: Murroe Boher Bord na nOg are delighted to announce that we are hosting an Easter Camp on Monday 26th, Tuesday 27th & Wednesday 28th March from 10.00am to 13.00pm. This camp is open to 6-13 years old with our u6’s welcome each day from 12.00 -13.00pm. (no fee). The camp will be held in Harty Park Murroe. The cost of the camp is €25 per person, with each camper receiving a new Club Windcheater and new Club socks. The camp is open to registered members only. Murroe/Boher Camogie Club Best of luck to Megan Kiely, Karen Cunningham, Katie Heelan, Sinead McElligott and Edel Cunningham who are part of the Limerick minor team who play Tipperary in the third round of the All Ireland Championship in UL on Saturday at 1pm. Good luck girls. Well done also to Katie Heelan and Sinead McElligott who were part of the St John the Baptist School, Hospital who won the Senior C Camogie All Ireland competition during the week, brilliant stuff girls!
