Milford Care Centre: This year the Milford Hospice annual Harvest Fair celebrates its 34th anniversary and is scheduled for Sunday 1st September at the University of Limerick. There will be a fun filled Programme of activities and entertainment. Items such as plants, bottles for the bottle stall, and homemade cakes along with new items for the Wheel of Fortune will be accepted on the day only. All other goods such as toys, fancy goods, designer/good quality handbags & scarfs are being accepted at the Hospice from the 19th August 2019. Viatores Christi (Lay missionary association) is visiting parishes in Cashel and Emly. They will preach at all Masses in Murroe/Boher next weekend 24/25 August.

The Eileen Leonard Memorial GAA & Camogie Club Funday will take place on Saturday 24th August in Cappamore GAA field at 4pm. The evening will include activities such as Long puck challenge, crossbar challenge, penalty shootout and more, followed by the Eileen Leonard Memorial Challenge Cup Match at 5.45pm and BBQ after. Open to all GAA & Camogie Club members from U6 up.

Murroe-Boher Community Games: All the best to everyone taking part in the August Festival this weekend in UL.  The pitch and putt competition is being held in Murroe on Sunday from 9:30am, best wishes to all involved.

Murroe Boher Camogie: Best of luck to our intermediate team who play Bruff in the third round of championship on Sunday at 11.30am in Bruff. We are hoping a big support will get out to follow the girls. Best of luck to our players and management.

Murroe AFC Notes: Team News: The Mens teams are back in action after the summer break. The A team had a fine 3-0 win over Athlunkard Villa on Tuesday evening last in their first league fixture, while the B team went down to Herbertstown on a 4-0 scoreline. The C team face Mungret Regional away this Friday in their first league fixture.

The A team face Charleville away on Saturday evening 17th at 6:30pm and the B team face Prospect Priory in Tubber at 10:30am on Sunday 18th. On Tuesday 20th then the A team are at home to Aisling Annacotty at 6:30pm and the B team are away to Knockainey at 6:30pm on Wednesday 21st. On Thursday 22nd our new Youth team (U-18) have their first fixture in Youth Div 2 with a home game against Corbally Utd at 6:30pm.

The Ladies team lost out to league leaders Regional Utd in the cup last Sunday on a 6-1 scoreline. The ladies face Listowel Celtic in Tubber at 7:15 on this Tuesday 20th August.
