The Board of Management of Scoil Mhuire Murroe invites expressions of interest from members of the community who are interested in serving on the Board of Management. Those interested should possess skills complementary to the Board’s skill requirements and be interested in education and its promotion, but not be parents of children attending the school. A commitment to the Catholic ethos of the school is a requirement. Boards of Management depend on a strong tradition of volunteerism and civic contribution and we encourage anyone who feels they can contribute to our school to consider putting their name forward. Expressions of interest may be made by phone to 061 386116 or by email to murroestaff@gmail.com before the 27th November. Breda White, Chairperson (on behalf of the Board)

The B team, obviously still a bit rusty after 8 weeks without a game recently, lost out 6-0 to Cahrconlish in the league, and the C team put up a brave fight but eventually went down 5-2 to Caledonians also in the league. Hopefully there’ll be better results next weekend.  The A Team are at home to Hill Celtic in the league at 11am, The B team are away to Corbally Utd in the league also at 11am, and the C team are away to local rivals Lisnagry also at 11am, all on Sunday morning. Keep an eye on the club Facebook page and Twitter feeds for up to the minute fixtures and results!
