Murroe/Boher Camogie Club: Hard luck to our intermediate team who lost their semi-final to a strong Crecora team. The girls have made great strides this year and we look forward to what next year has to bring. Our thanks to the management team and players for their commitment to the club. Best of luck to our minor team who play their third round on Saturday at 5pm in Patrickswell. Last weekend saw our first hosting of an U11 blitz in memory of Johnny O’Brien. Teams from Newport, Cappamore and Treaty Gaels travelled to Boher for an exhibition of camogie with U7 and U9 games also taking place on the day. Well done to the victorious Newport team and thanks to all teams for travelling and to our own club mentors and parents who helped out on the day to ensure a smoothly run event, our thanks to all involved.

Murroe AFC Notes: Team news: The A team and C team didn’t have any fixtures last weekend. The B team took on Knockainey on Sunday last in Tubber and came out deserved winners on a 2-0 scoreline. Keep an eye on the club’s Facebook Page for up to date fixtures and results.
