Murroe Boher Camogie Club: It was a busy week for Katie Heelan, Megan Kiely, Edel Cunningham and Karen Cunningham who were all part of 2 squads who were in action over the past week. Katie, Edel and Karen were part of the Limerick U17 team who beat Kerry and lost to Cork in a blitz in Mallow last Saturday. Megan and Hazel Hourigan were part of the Limerick U16 team who lost to Galway in the third round of the All-Ireland series, marking the end of their season. Edel, Karen, Katie and Megan were then all part of the Limerick minor team who lost to a strong Cork team in the Munster Shield Final on Wednesday. Well done to our girls who have done the club very proud with their performances and dedication to the Limerick jersey. These games mark the end of the intercounty seasons for all age groups and our girls now focus on the club championships. Next Sunday (13th August) our intermediate team will line out against Crecora at home in the first round of championship at 12pm. Best of luck to our girls and please show your support.
