Ballyhoura Development is delivering ‘bring your own device’ Digital Skills training in Cappamore Library. This training aims to give people the confidence, motivation and skills to take their first steps online. Training is FREE and will be delivered in small groups of 8 to 10 people, over 5 x 2 hour sessions. We hope to begin our next training on Friday, 21st February from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Murroe Boher Community Games: Community Games Art, Model-Making and Handwriting will be held in Muinter na Tire hall on Saturday the 18th of January at 11am. All children from U6 to U16 are welcome. Murroe AFC Team News: The Fixtures were back after the Christmas break last weekend (Sunday 5th January), with the A team taking on local rivals Caherconlish in the First round of the Lawson Cup. Unfortunately, after a tightly fought contest that went all the way to extra time the Murroe lads lost out on a scoreline of 3-2.
There’s a full list of fixtures coming up this weekend on Sunday 12th January. The A team are at home to Charleville in the league at 11am. Also, at 11am the C team are at home to Mungret Regional in the league. At 2pm the B team are playing at home against Castle Utd, and also at 2pm the Youth U-18 Team are playing away in the league against Corbally Utd.
