Boher Community Development Association had a very successful launch of its 2020 Parish Calendar recently, at O’Neill’s Bar.  The calendar includes a delightful selection of old and recent photographs reflecting the lives and achievements of the people of Boher and places of interest.  The back of the calendar features some Boher-related snippets from old newspapers and journals.  It is available from the Bars in Boher and the shops and PO in Murroe.  Cost €5.

A very successful Boher Market was held recently at the Boher Community Centre. Artists, crafts people and culinary experts displayed their work to a very large number of locals and visitors. A variety of high standard local crafts were sold. It was a great success and Santa and Mrs Claus arrived early, bringing much joy to the many children who turned up on this wonderful occasion.  Thanks to all who helped to organise this great day

No more fixtures now until Sunday 5th January, so enjoy the break everyone, and a Happy Christmas to you all from us all here at Murroe AFC. Keep an eye on the club Facebook page and Twitter feeds for up to the minute fixtures and results!
