Cappamore Historical Society will host a Lecture in the local Community Centre on Monday the 3rd of February at 8pm. The Lecture by Tom Toomey will be on the subject of “The Dromkeen Ambush”. There will be a charge of 5 euro to non-members, and Refreshments will be provided after the lecture.

Only membership paid by February 7th will be eligible for Inter County Tickets going forward when being distributed by the club. Murroe AFC Team News: Last weekend the A team were unlucky to lose out to near neighbors Cappamore Celtic on penalties after a tightly fought contest in the divisional cup match in Tubber. The scores finished level at 1-1, but Cappamore had the better accuracy in the shootout.
This weekend on Saturday 1st February, the A team are away to Aisling Annacotty in the league at 7pm, while on Sunday 2nd February The C team are at home against Nenagh Town at 2pm in the league. The B team, and Youth team have no fixtures.
