Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima will be on display in Murroe Church on this Sunday, 13th August. A Plenary Indulgence can be obtained by praying before the statue.

Mulcair Tug of War Club are hosting a Novice tug of War pull in aid of Milford Hospice at the Cappamore Show on Saturday next 19th August, starting at 1pm. Also, Weight Lifting and Children’s Tug of War.

A Service of healing with Mass will be held in Kilteely Parish Church Co. Limerick on Thursday 17th August @ 8pm Celebrant: –  Fr. John Keane. All are welcome. Fr. Keane is a native of Youghal Co. Cork. He is a Priest in the Diocese of Cloyne. He has spent many years on loan ministering in the missions in South America and Africa. He is presently on loan here in Ireland to a group of both clergy and lay people who travel around Ireland giving missions and retreats in Parishes. He is this month returning to his Diocese of Cloyne to take up duty as a parish priest in the Parish of Macroom, Co. Cork and Director of Eucharistic Adoration for the whole Diocese. He is gifted with a renowned Healing Ministry which many people have experienced great healing through his prayers.

Mulcair Men’s Shed are hosting our second annual Open Day on Sunday the 27th August, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. This will be at our Shed at the Abington Enterprise Center, Abington, Co. Limerick. We are a Shed-without-borders as we serve communities in both Limerick and Tipperary. Everybody is welcome to join us on the day, so please bring along family and friends to see our shed and meet the members and find out what we’ve been up to and what we have planned. We will have music, barbeque, blood pressure testing, refreshments and face painting for the kids. We will also have a monster raffle and some other competitions, so it will be a fun filled day for all of the family. We look forward to seeing you on the day.

Cliona’s Foundation 10th Annual Cycle will take place on Sat 26th Aug next at Bruff Rugby Club, Kilballyown, Bruff, Co. Limerick. Again, there are three routes – 90k (over 18’s); 40k and 10k which will be the first off at 9:45am. Registration from 8:30am, adults €25.00 non-Cycling Ireland members; adults €20.00 Cycling Ireland members; child €5 and family €30. Murroe-Boher Community Games:  This year Community Games National Finals are being held in Dublin to mark their 50 years celebrations.  Wishing best of luck to Eibhlin Stockil who is participating in U14 clay modelling and Eoin Callanan who is participating in the U12 clay modelling at the finals next weekend.

Murroe Boher Camogie Club: Best of luck to our intermediate team who kick off their championship campaign with a home game against Crecora at 12noon in Murroe on Sunday. Be sure to come out and support our girls. On Sunday morning after both masses in Murroe, our u16 team will be holding a bake sale in the clubhouse. Please show your support.
