Murroe Boher Camogie Club: This weekend sees our clubs competitive season kick off. On Friday evening our U16 team took to the field against Newcastle West in their opening round of the league. On Sunday at 11.30am our senior team play Ahane in the first game of their league campaign in Ahane. The Limerick senior team with Niamh Richardson played Galway in a top of the table clash on Saturday afternoon in Ballinasloe, both teams have qualified for semi-finals. Hard luck to the Limerick minor team with Edel Cunningham and Katie Heelan who were beaten in their last group game in the All Ireland series. The team failed to qualify for the knock out stages but will look forward to Munster championship in July. Well done to our girls who did the club proud. Next Friday our U16 team will line out again, this time away to Bruff. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for fixtures and results.
