Junior Entrepreneurs from Scoil Mhuire Murroe Launch Deccks: Fifth class girls and boys from Scoil Mhuire Murroe are 2020 participants in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme (JEP).  JEP is an entrepreneurial education programme for primary school pupils.  Our Fifth class Junior Entrepreneurs have created a fun educational game.  It is a card game played with a six-sided dice and is called DECCKS.  Each number on the dice corresponds to a letter.  If a 1 is thrown the action is D: Describe a person, object or action.  For 2 it is E: Exercise Do 25 heel kicks and 25 star jumps.  3 is C: Charades: Act out the title of a book or film.  4 is C: Calculate: How many times is 6 contained in 54?  5 is K: Knowledge: Who was the first woman in space?  6 is S: Spell ENTREPRENEUR.  To play the game each task must be performed in 1 minute to earn 5 points for your team.  The game is suitable for ages 9+ with teams of 3+players.  Our Showcase day will be held in the school next week.  This has been a wonderful learning experience for the boys and girls who have learned about design and production, finance, sales and marketing.  This fun game DECCKS can be ordered from our school for only €15.
